Fun at the park and some photos from Portrait Innovations

My friend Rori and I took the boys to Liberty Park yesterday. Sawyer slept the whole time but Colton had a great time. He loved playing in the water and pushing the stroller around. I'm so sad that winter is coming so quickly!

We drove to Provo last week to have photos taken of the boys @ Portrait Innovations. It was definitely worth the drive. They did a great job, especially considering both kids were cranky and whiny. They spent about two hours with us and took over 100 pictures. I would definitely recommend them!

Do they look alike or are we both crazy???

I have thought Colton and Sawyer looked a lot alike since Sawyer was born but Bart didn't really see it. Today, he saw it with these photos. What do you all think??

Almost 4:30 AM and I still have a sleeping baby on my chest. When I try to put him down, he cries so I am stuck like this all night long. The things moms do!

I'm still not very good at this!

At least I have a good excuse! Sawyer is a very fussy baby and takes up pretty much all of my time. It is now 3:30 AM and he is asleep on my chest so I thought I'd take a few minutes to update things.

Sawyer Gage was born on August 11th at 7:45 PM. It was a very easy delivery; I was induced that morning and pushed a total of 15 minutes before he made his appearance. He weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. He loves to be held and is a terrible sleeper. I feel like I am going insane most of the time but I love him to death. Colton is a very good big brother but is so clingy with me. I can't even leave his sight or he cries and gets very upset. Life is quite interesting right now!

Well, I guess we can all agree that I suck at keeping up this blog! I really will try to get better when Sawyer gets here. We have an induction date of August 11th - yay! I am very ready to not be pregnant. It's been so hot and I am exhausted. So, if all goes well, he will have a birthday 8 days after Mommy.

I thought I'd just share a few recent photos of Colton - Dad gave him a buzz cut. It was very traumatic and I almost cried but it's growing on me. That said, I doubt if Dad or Mom will ever cut his hair again!

My very good friend Rori had a small shower for me last weekend and I received a lot of cute things so here are a few photos from that as well.
